
Yahoo Portal in UK shifts to Google Search It's a remarkable move that Yahoo has made in the UK. Instead of using their new partners in crime Bing, the online portal for BT Broadband, which is run by Yahoo, replaced its Yahoo web search engine by that of Google. The move is a remarkable one in light of the deal between Yahoo and Microsoft earlier this year. It should therefore be seen in the light of Yahoo's partner in crime here, BT. ![]() For Google this deal is also interesting. The deal makes Google the largest search provider of ISPs in the UK.
