Yahoo launches new interactive homepage Today in the US Yahoo! is launching a new homepage. The homepage will be more focussed on the user. As a user you can customize the page to your whishes with (both from Yahoo and form third parties) apps and widgets. The changes make the Yahoo homepage a page which Yahoo hopes will be the starting page for many users or even better: a new kind of iGoogle. If this will succeed is doubtfull. ![]() CommentRelated tweets

I think some search engines are overwhelming with the amount of content provided. I like to use www.infospace.com - it provides clean relevant results and if I choose to, I can see results from Twitter as well. If I want to go to Facebook or ebay, I can go directly to those sites. I don't need an app clogging up my search.
