SEO Samba tries to combine SEO & CMS

A CMS used to be one of the biggest hurdles when it came to optimizing a page. Though a CMS helps you get full (well, more) control over your website it technically mostly didn't really help. You couldn't change titles, the urls were terrible and even internal linking most of the time was difficult.

These days more and more content management systems are getting SEO-ready. Which is a good thing. You get more control over your search-performance. Still there is a lot of difference in how the CMS-es work. Some just added the search-friendly functionalities to the existing functionalities, others have built an entire new CMS. The last group started with an SEO-view, instead of a content management view which helps make the product better. SEO Samba is one of the companies who belongs to the last group.

In Holland we have companies like First Focus doing things like this, the US-based SEO Samba, with a French origin, goes the whole way. They created an "organic search marketing platform" which can work as a CMS but can also be implemented on an existing site.
