Social Media growing in Germany

Comscore has released more numbers on the German market. Based on the comScore World Metrix user metrics the German Social Media market grew with 36 percent.

In Germany last year a total of 37,6 million people used the internet. 23,6 of them used social media websites. Facebook and Yasni saw the biggest growth in numbers.

In 2008 Google websites were (again) the most visited sites by Germans. 30,4 million Germans used those sites. Microsoft came in second with 21,9 million users.
