Pheed, the Next Big Social Network

A new social network called “Pheed” has just launched its web version last week. Pheed brings all types of content that you get on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Youtube and Soundcloud in one simple platform.

Pheed not only offers the standard features of a social network such as to send text, post photos and broadcast videos, but also to share voice notes, audio clips and live broadcasting. Many famous artists have joined the social network, such as Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tidale, Ashley Simpson, Chris Brown, Janice Dickinson, David Guetta, and many more. "Already we have 200 of the most influential people that are on Twitter on our platform and those type of people sort of dictate the trend and it sort of like trickles down from there to the middle of America and to the every day person", says the record producer Tony DeNiro, who also the Chief Cultural Officer of Pheeds LLC, in the interview by WXYZ Detroit.

Unfortunately, users must pay in order to follow the account of for example Paris Hilton, Chris Brown, and David Guetta. To follow these celebrities, users may choose either to “pay-per-view” or to take monthly subscriptions.

What if you just want to hang around the social network without paying? You may! Some celebrities also let their content open for public, for example Miley Cyrus, Mike Posner or Ashley Tidale.
