Lynx’s invisible Ads – the most creative idea There are too many promotion Ads right now, and most of them are ignored if they 'don't look normal'. So how can ads be outstanding, unique, and grab audiences' attention at first glance? Maybe it is a good idea to see how Lynx has done this. Imagine, a large group of people wearing sunglasses at night, laughing, staring at a normal house, pointing at the bright light from the windows. Curious? This happened last week in Australia. Actually the bright windows were all replaced with LED screens, on which 6 videos were playing. The special part is that if you only pass by, it looked like nothing was happening. As long as you were given a pair of Lynx sunglasses, the house turned into huge steamy Ads. That night in Australia, a lot of people were wearing sunglasses and standing in front of houses, and watching those Ads excitedly. Advertisers took people’s reaction and made a video, which has been uploaded on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. ![]() What Lynx has done is really opposite thinking to the normal rule of Ads. Normally, Ads are made as visible as possible, and make sure lots of people can see it. Lynx takes advantages of people’s curiousity. Of course, it works! Furthermore, the unique and creative Ads engage people and drag them into the advertising. Very Smart! Comment |
