Marketing, Customer Contact, and E-Commerce in One!
Utrecht is the host of the biggest marketing, customer contact, and e-commerce fair in the Netherlands. This two-day-event is called “De Dagen 2012” (translation: the days 2012); and is taking place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
De Dagen 2012 consists of three main divisions: De Marketing Dagen (the Marketing Days), De Klant-Contact Dagen (the Customer Contact Days), and De E-Commerce Dagen (the E-Commerce Days).
During this event, marketers, entrepreneurs, and even students like me may get an opportunity to become acquainted with new suppliers, products, and services, and to share knowledge and exchange experiences in the field of marketing, customer contact, and e-commerce.
SearchCowboys was there on the first day; we obviously did not want to miss out on an event like this! Overall, there were a lot of great companies taking part in this event. Most companies who participated in the event offer interesting and innovative products and services; it was fun to go to one stand to another and ask “So what do you have here?” There was also this one interesting new online service platform that caught my eyes, but I will keep that to my next article!
Next to all the nice goodies and samples that I brought home, there were also lots of interesting workshops and conferences about marketing, customer contact, and e-commerce! However, attendees always had to be in the workshop rooms 15 minutes before they started because ‘everyone’ wanted to be there; especially for workshops with attention-grabbing topics like “social marketing strategy”, “display advertising”, and other interesting workshops.
