Ten shots of Social Media...and how was it for you?
Sunny skies, warm temp. forecasts, low pollen counts, BBQ spit shined Gordon Ramsay style...I definitely felt a pg-13 'Yippee ki-yay' moment coming up at the beginning of the week...alas...our weather turned out to be as fickle as some of our politicians...But hey I got you a great consolation prize, wrapped up in our weekly social media recap, play by play, so let me send out a sincere TGIF shout out, and we're off..
Monday – Straight out the gate a very ambitious Russian online payment system, eager, hungry to conquer the world one payment at a time, check it out. Next destination on our list: Indonesia, one of the biggest social media capitals of the world, so Twitter is trying to dig in its heels or should I say expand its social media wings to the fullest. Here's the 411. And as we were in the mood for some comic relief we decided to give you a 'peek a boo' at a digital comic publishing platform, called Ngomik.com
Tuesday – We noticed that Baidu is also aspiring to float (so to speak) on 'cloud' 8 instead of 9 (I am somewhat up to speed) with the launch of their new app called Baidu Wangpang. And last but certainly not least a bucket of delicious smartphone news, stats and all kinds of yummies to keep marketers happy till Wednesday.
Thursday – One of the questions that you might not dare to ask but sure as heck would want to know...'Apple lied about 4G on the new iPad?' Ohh and then readers..Google's PR machine in overdrive or should I say revving the goodwill Prius...
Friday – Another gadget supreme flexing its commercial muscles..
So I hope your ten shots of social media stories were to your liking...enjoy your weekend and...
