MouthShut.com – Jawdropping review site In my search for some interesting social media news from India I just happen to stumble upon MoutShut.com, a user-generated content and consumer review website, which on its own merits does not sound impressive, but hey spend more than 5 seconds on the site and you will not only gladly bookmark it, but spread the ‘word’ to everyone immediately Its biggest appeal (again on a personal note) cannot be found in an impressive design, nor in a Wiki resume stacked with independent reviews, awards and partnerships with for example Google, but in the simple fact that Mr. ‘Web 2.0 India’ - Faisal I. Farooqui’s company has the guts to firmly hold its ground in refusing to delete any review regardless of the fact that you are a ‘regular’ user, small, big brand or plain old mogul material - if you don’t ‘show him the perverbial money’, in this case an original author request or court order it’s Hasta La Vista Baby or in inept Google Translate Hindi: Hasta ला विस्टा बच्चे. So if you are considering let's say buying a car in India or checking out cheerleaders, excuse me revered colleges in Bangalore remember to always hit that www.you-guessed-it-right..MouthShut.com first. By the way, let the mastermind himself sell it to you. Image courtesy of MouthShut.com Comment |
