Bobbi Brown Cosmetics takes advantage of using Facebook
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is launching a Facebook campaign to help its fans vote for the return of lip colours that are no longer in production. They have been doing the return ‘thing’ for years now, but never as a marketing event on Facebook.
On Wednesday, the campaign kicked off with a video message from founder and CCO Bobbi Brown. It is about inviting fans to vote for the 10 most frequently requested colours. But voting is limited to six countries – the U.S., UK, Korea, Japan, Germany and Australia – with support for multiple languages and mobile devices.
The ballots will close on February 29th, and afterwards, the lip colours with the most votes will become available, including blush and eye shadow in the future.
It’s been said that this campaign is one of the most promising “fcommerce” initiatives, which rewards brand loyalists and builds future purchases at the same time.
