
SEO Roadshow: unique series of interviews Today on Search Cowboys we launch a very unique series of interviews. In the upcoming months we will be publishing interviews with some of the big names in Search in Europe and worldwide. The interviews will be done through podcasts, texts and videos. That way readers of Searchcowboys will get a good view of how the people in Search think about their profession and the market. The series can be found under the name ‘Joost & Friends discuss some internet stuff’ in the SEO Roadshow channel. The interviews are setup by three Cowboys: Joost de Valk, Eduard Blacquière and Bas van den Beld. Joost de Valk was able to get some of his search-friends to do an interview with the Cowboys. Eduard and Bas joined in to do the interviews. In the next months, amongst others, Kevin Ryan (Search Engine Strategies), Dennis Mortensen (Indextools), Danny Sullivan (SearchEngineLand), Dave Naylor and Matt Cutts (Google) will tell us their vision on the search market. The kick off interview is with Kevin Ryan who visited Holland this month. Apart from his day-job Joost is an internationally known SEO and Wordpress blogger, a frequent speaker at events like Search Engine Strategies, Search Marketing Expo and Affiliates4UExpo. Eduard Blacquière ![]() Eduard Blacquière is Business Consultant at Outrider, the Search Engine Marketing Agency owned by GroupM, which is the media-buyer and planner from Media conglomerate WPP. Eduard is responsible for business development, the improvement and expansion with other services of the current search strategie. Before that Eduard Blacquière was responsible for search engine marketing at Testnet Online Advertising, active in affiliate marketing. He has a degree in Small Business & Retail Management and did his internship at Checkit. His research paper was spread externally as a report "marktonderzoek zoekmachine marketing Nederland 2007" which got a lot of attention in the related media. ![]() Bas van den Beld founder and owner of NetTraject which specializes in organizing webprojects. Bas is most off the time helping organisations implementing their new websites and search engine marketing projects. NetTraject is all about projectmanagement and the selection of technical partners. Bas is also a coach for webcompanies who want to take their company to the next level and gives a lot of workshops about projectmanagement, the evolution of the web and how to improve your webcompany. Bas was closely involved in the redesign and upgrade of Dutchcowboys and its sister websites. He is now Chief Editor of Searchcowboys.
