OneRiot's Pulserank is Pagerank of real time

A little while ago we talked about OneRiot, the real time search engine, as being integrated in Internet Explorer 8. Before that OneRiot made name with their "social search". Last week they announced the newest 'social real time search' - term: Pulserank.

With Pulserank OneRiot created a realtime ranking algorithm which they themselves refer to as “Page Rank for the realtime web.”. Pulserank ranks the real time results so they are "most socially relevant".

OneRiot already bases results on freshness alone through their real-time firehose setting, Pulse Rank results are based on several factors like Timeliness, domain authority, individual reputation, and acceleration. It also tries to filter out spam links and it will detect if a page is trending or if its a popular destination which has always been popular.
