Here come the visual adsA search engine which is slowly but steadily growing in a competitive market and which has got the potential to grow out to one of the bigger players in the market is Searchme. The visual search engine is increasingly adding new features to their website. Last week they announced another major step forward: AdView. The ads are placed between the results. Therefore not everyone will recognize the ads right away. For example the firt result when looking for a soccer outfit has an ad at the bottom of the page you're flipping. However, an ad can aslo be a YouTube Video. This giving yet another dimension to visual ads. To see an example of this search for "mac" on Searchme and flip to the third result, which is a video-ad. ![]() To say the least Searchme is innovating. Users actually get the chance to see part of the ad before clicking. The question remains wether or not the users will embrace the ads and actually click on them because they want to or because they don't recognize them as ads. Searchme is giving out free trails for the first 500 companies or individuals to sign up. CommentRelated tweets
