Yes, its that time of year again. Zeitgeist year, in which we can see what we were all searching for in 2009. We've had Google's, Bings and Yahoo's trends already and also Twitter has announced their Zeitgeist. Today it's YouTube's turn.

Online Video is getting more and more important every day. YouTube is growing like never before and they actually seem to be making money anytime soon. With the high usage YouTube is becoming one of the major search engines, a vertical yes, but one of the biggest ones.

YouTube looked at view counts of their most popular videos this year. Most popular world wide was Britain's Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle. Not surprisingly Michael Jackson was amongst the fastest rising and popular terms around the time of his death. Look at the lists below.
