Europe stays behind in Trademarked bidding policy

Google allowed trademark bidding in the UK only a month ago. It then made the trademark policy similar to the one in the US. Google will stop investigating complaints towards AdWords advertisers about to the use of trademarks as keywords.

Google has now made the trademark policy the same for 190 countries worldwide. After the US, Canada, UK and Ireland 186 other countries now have the same policy. Europe however is still staying behind.

In Europe the following countries are part of the trademark policy: Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, The Vatican, Ireland, Montenegro, Russia, San Marino and the UK.

That is a very small amount of European countries who probably all have EU regulations to work with. Big countries like France, Germany, Spain and Italy so for are not 'part of the deal'.

Countries in which the policy doesn't apply:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak
