Google acknowledging mobile search with new keywordtool

Last week Seroundtable discovered that Google might just be testing out a new Google Adwords Keyword Tool. Some users of Google Adwords can see the tool when logged into their account. be aware that it's probably only for US-users since we haven't spotted the link Seroundtable is talking about yet.

The new keyword tool is more advanced than the current one. You can for example target more on different countries and languages and you can choose between verticals, views and click directly through to Google insights.

On the Search Engine Watch Forums they posted a screenshot of the new Adwords-tool (click to enlarge):

One thing that SEroundtable noticed is that Google is apparently embracing the fact that more and more people are surfing the web using their mobile device. When researching a specific keyword you can filter it and show stats for mobile search.
