What would Google do? Go International!

Google is probably one of the best barometers when it comes to how the world is doing. And in this case I'm not talking about Google Trends.

If you look at Google you can see the economic state of the World. Andy Atkins Kruger has disected Googles numbers and comes to an interesting conclusion: "The world outside of the U.S. and the U.K. is significantly bolstering Google's financial performance."

On Searchenginewatch Andy, a well known SEO who specializes in international projects, wrote a very interesting article about the economic state of the world with an interesting angle towards international search, and more specific Google.

Andy Atkins Kruger looked at Google's international sales figures and concluded that Google’s sales in international markets has increased relative to the US, while the UK market is most feeling the crisis.

According to Kruger the growing rate of international sales at Google is increasing: "the international side of Google's business has been growing in 2009 more than five times faster than in 2008!"

The broken down figures show that the 'rest of the world' will be recovering from the crisis before the US and "Expand your business in the more buoyant economies of the world now".
