
UK internet users are shopping lessWe know that UK women like to spend time online shopping and on social networks. Hitwise now gives us numbers which are more specific: UK Internet users are spending more time social networking than shopping. In March 9,8% of UK Internet visits (so women and men) was directed at social networking sites. "Only" 8,6% went to online shopping. This is the other way around compared to last year when UK internetters were shopping more. Most time was spent on Entertainment sites (11,6%), Social Networksites (9,8%), Shopping (8,6%) and News and media websites (5,6%). Comment |
