Find your UK woman shopping online

Looking for a woman in the UK? The best chance of finding one is probably online, shopping and networking. IPC Media, a UK consumer magazine publisher researched the womens behavior online. They found that 74% of female Internet users in the UK went online every day last year.

Most time spent online was during the weekends when the women spent an average of over 20 minutes a session online. Nearly all the women (97%) did research for products online. 92% of the women actually bought products online.

When not shopping the women are mostly visiting Social Networking sites. 50% of all women internet users regularly visit Facebook in 2008. This is a big growth compared to 2007 when on 14% regulary visited this networking site.

Facebook gained a lot of ground on the other major networking sites. Where in 2007 most women (33%) spent their time on MySpace, in 2008 only 12% used MySpace.

I certainly hope for the men that there are more opportunities to meet UK women than those 20 minutes that they spend doing some research online.
