118 Videos per viewer in the UK We already knew that in the United Kingdom they like to watch online video. Comscore now provides us with the data confirming that UK viewers are very active with online video. Research results from Comscore's Video Metrix service show that 78 percent of the total U.K. Internet users viewed 3.2 billion videos online last June. Most video's were watched on sites like YouTube and other Google sites. They counted for almost half of al views. BBC websites were also used a lot, 45.014.000 times. With that the BBC is the second largest video-provider in the UK. The amount of video's watched online counts up to 3.2 billion. That means that every viewer on average watched 117,7 video's in June. That makes the UK the biggest online viewing country in Europe. Considering the fact that no UK-teams played on the European Football Championships makes these numbers even more impressive. If England would have qualified these numbers would probably be even much higher. ![]() ![]() CommentRelated tweets
