Get the Europeans in the first 10 results

A research performed by IAB Europe and InSites Consultancy shows European Internet users hardly look beyond the first 10 search results. 70% of those who do go beyond the first ten stop after 20 results.

The study took place across 16 European countries including the UK, Belgium, France and Italy. About 32,000 internet users over 15 took part in the survey.

The survey was a lot broader than just search but showed search engines play a big role in the usage of the Internet and in the process of online buying. 59% is weekly looking for products and services they want to buy online.

The full report can be bought for no less that 4.000 euros at the IAB.
