Spain expects growth in digital media

Spanish numbers show us that advertisement revenues for digital media is the only media which will grow in the foreseeing future. Especially mobile marketing and Internet are foreseen to grow, this will benefit search and search ads in particular.

The rise of the digital media stands opposed to the drop of other media. Movies drop 33,3% in 2009 and are expected to drop 18,1% in 2019. Print media would fall by 25,8% in 2009 and 14,4% in 2010.

The numbers show a small growth for Mobile Marketing (9,4%) and Internet in general (8,2%). Other media which would go down are:

Free newspapers (down 24,7% in 2009 and 14,4% in 2010)
Magazines (down 20,5% in 2009 and 13,8% in 2010)
Outdoor advertising (down 17,6% in 2009 and 9,2% in 2010)
Radio (down 17,4% in 2009 and 5,5% in 2010)
TV (down 16,4& in 2009 and 5,1% in 2010)
