Telecom most heavy on Display Ads on social networking sites
Numbers presented by Comscore yesterday show social networking sites account for 13.8 billion display ad impressions in August 2009. That is more than 25 percent of all display ads viewed online in the UK.
Comscore also looked at demographic elements. 29 percent of display ad impressions is presented to 15-24 year olds who were the highest indexing age segment. Persons over 55 still account for 15,8% of the category audience.
