
One out of seven UK pageviews goes to FacebookThat Facebook is big and is getting even bigger every day we already knew. The social networking site is growing in every European country, with the UK as example for all the others. Facebook leads the way with a distance. It accounts for 14,5% market share of all UK visits. Second biggest site Google UK follows with 5,8% just before eBay UK (5,5%). ![]() Hitwise also shows the immense growth Facebook has been making over the past year. Since September 2008 Facebook grew 86,1% and doubled in visits over that same period. ![]() The numbers show the power of Facebook.
