
UK most succesful with online marketing campaigns The AT Institute constantly researches online behavior and trends. In their latest research they compared different European countries on how the investments in online marketing campaigns work out. The study focused on website which are actually using online marketing campaigns. With online marketing campaigns they mean the use of affiliates and partners, marketing emails, RSS feeds and sponsored links or advertising.
France therefore seems most reluctant to use online marketing tools and therefore also sees the least increase in traffic coming from these campaigns. ![]() Suprisingly enough sponsored links are the main source in both Spain (36%) and the UK (28%). France is the only country in which search engines are the main source. ![]() It seems as if Spain and the UK on one hand are very similar and France and Germany are on the other hand similar. Shame we don't have The Netherlands in this data as it would be good to compare. I would imagine the UK would get a run for their money!
