Today we are proud to present the very first episode of “Calling Europe”, a podcast in which we call search marketers from around Europe to find out what happened in their country in the past month.

In this first episode (so be gentle with us ;) ) Bas van den Beld talks to Eduard Blacquière and Roy Huiskes and discussed what happened in search in Holland in Januari 2009. Dutch SEO’s in Google Webmaster Groups
We talk about the Dutch SEO’s not being present in the Google Webmaster Groups. They try to get a discussion going, but no one responds. Roy makes a call for Dutch SEO’s to step in.

Dutch Doodle Day
Finally we talk about the Dutch Doodle Day where a Dutch schoolgirl saw her home-made Doodle appear on Google for the entire day. Off course its marketing, but its also a nice initiative.
