This week Bas and Roy were joined by Dixon Jones. Dixon is a well known speaker and moderat at several conferences worldwide, especially in Europe. He runs his company Receptional Internet Marketing and since last year he is also the 'face' of Majestic SEO. He also did a guestpost last year on Searchcowboys you should definitely read. Dixon discussed the tool Majestic SEO and joined in on other topics like the relationship Google has with some European countries and Joost's newest application.

Google's relation with Europe
Google has a strange relationship with Europe they do the same as they do in the US, but they get different responses, just look at the book search deal. This week two items came in the news which might have opposite results for Google. The Germans again were 'fighting' Google, this time publisher want the German cartel authority to stand up to Google. This story resulted in a discussion about how old media should or should not protect their copyrights. Meanwhile in the UK there was a remarkable story in which Newscorp is threatening to sue the UK aggregator NewsNow for linking to several of its newspaper sites.
