Shownotes Episode 15 - December 1st 2009

1st part:

Quick Recap of SES Berlin
We were at SES Berlin last week where we did a combined show with Mediadonis' Webmasters on the Roof (Marcus Tandler) in the lobby of the hotel. A look back at SES Berlin showed a couple of very interesting presentations with Evert Veldhuijzen's PPC tricks as one of the highlights.

Do the big directories still matter?
Bas and Roy answer a question from the chatroom whether or not the big directories like Yahoo or DMOZ still matter. Every link counts...

Searchers using longer queries
A Hitwise research shows searchers are using longer queries. What effect will that have on optimization? It could be interesting in the long run when search engines change the way they work, like how Bing is using branded search.
