Last night the Searchcowboys show on Webmasterradio was one without our regular host Roy Huiskes. Because of the birth of his second son he couldn't join in. He was however replaced by two well known search marketers from the UK: the Myers family. Lisa and Jon Myers joined Bas to discuss the search market.

This week Google started sending out Google Wave invites. Who got one? Do we want one? And how can we get one? What would we do with it?

Online Ad Spend surpasses TV for the first time
online ad spend has surpassed TV in the UK as the single biggest advertising medium. Online advertising now accounts for 23.5% of all UK ad spend at a total of £1.75 billion. This is an increase of 4.6% compared to the previous year while TV dropped by 17%. Will this finally mean the big shift is there? Or is this just a one time issue?

Many don't know the difference between paid and organic
A Research in Holland shows many searchers who use Google don't know the difference between organic and paid result, but mostly click on the organic results. Not a big surprise, but still, what does this mean?
