Google and Friends gang up on Facebook Last Thursday Google and some the Web’s leading social networks announced they are teaming up against Facebook to ‘out-Facebook Facebook’, as MarketingVox said. Just after losing the bidding war on Facebook from Microsoft, Google forms an alliance of companies and plans to introduce a common set of standards.
