Find Dutch celebrities phone numbers through Google

It's a small country, but yes, in Holland there are a lot of celebrities. Most of which are hard to reach, because they tend to keep their information personal.

Until last night however it was possible to call each one of thousands celebrities in person because of a leak in a website of GPD, a local press agency. The leak was closed, but the numbers could still be found, Google had indexed them...

The webserver which was supposed to be for a intranet could be reached through the web. On the intranet there was a 'contact page' to help journalist find the celebrities numbers fast to call them about stories.

Among the numbers were numbers of popstars, tv stars and members of parliament. Even the prime-ministers number was on there, though that turned out to be an old number.

After the leak was discovered they immediately closed it, but the numbers could still be found in the Google cache. That was cleared several hours later.

GPD was surprised about what happened and blaims their provider: "Off course its not our intent that people can look into our database of contacts. An external agency handles our webserver, we will look into it."
