Oneriot takes next step in realtime: Realtime Ads

Real time search engine Oneriot has been around for a while now, even long before Google decided to step into the real time business. It's therefore not surprising that Oneriot is one of the first to take the next step: realtime ads.

Last week OneRiot announced the full rollout of RiotWise, “the first ad network for the realtime web.”. RiotWise is now available to all developers via the OneRiot Developer Network.

Oneriot has been testing the service in a pilot phase with specific clients, a test which according to the company has been very successful.

According to Oneriot the RiotWise ads have been performing 3-4 times the industry standard CTR for ads in realtime.

Oneriot stresses the option is a way for developers to make money. OneRiot shares advertiser revenue with developers. "Developers have flexibility to display RiotWise ads in a manner that best suits users of their particular application." the company says.
