Where is Searchcowboys going? Take a look at Dutchcowboys As you can imagine we at Searchcowboys want to go forward. Therefore we are constantly looking at new ways to improve ourselves. On the one hand that will be with content, on the other hand that will be by improving the website. In the next couple of months we will be doing a couple of new interesting things which will make our website even better than it already is. In this article I want to give you a little peek into the future of what we'll be doing. And if you want a real time view on the future: check out our sister-site Dutch Cowboys, they've implemented parts already. Business base As you might know Searchcowboys is part of a group of websites. In this group with mainly Dutch sites you can find sites like DutchCowboys, Mobilecowboys, Dutchcowgirls, Germancowboys, Belgiancowboys and the newest addition Stylecowboys. Dutchcowboys is the leading one in the series and there we have implemented the beta version of our Business-application. This will be tested and then fully implemented on Searchcowboys in the coming months. What is this Searchcowboys Business? On Dutchcowboys its called "DC Business". There its and index of companies in all sorts of different categories: Computer Software, Graphic Design, Information Technology and Services, Internet, Marketing and Advertising, Media, Online Publishing, Online Security, Professional Training, Public Relations, Telecommunications and Wireless. The companies who register have the possibility to make a profile of their business. This profile has some extensive options. For example you can connect all your social media to the business-base, add important persons and products and services. The "biggest thing" is that companies can put in their own news-items which will be presented in a special feed. Off course all articles in which a specific company is mentioned will be attached to the business profile. The business profile-extract can be embedded to any webpage you want. like this:
For now this has been implemented on Dutchcowboys, but we will soon add this to Searchcowboys also. In the case of Searchcowboys we are building the biggest database in Europe with ALL search engine agencies in Europe. A database which has no equal. Some of the Dutch companies are already placed in the Dutch version on Dutchcowboys. Jobs Another thing which will be added to the business base is the jobs-section. Every company will be able to add job openings to their profile. The jobs will also be shown in a special jobs section. Workshops and education Dutchcowboys has also signed a deal with Dutch eduction suppliers Lectric. Together with them we will be setting up special workshops and trainingsessions. There will also be some trainingsessions which are specialized in search. We are working on the format of making those internationally available. Companies who have their own trainings possibilities can off course add these to their own profile pages.  Is that all? Well, we think this is already quite a lot. But no, this isn't all. We are working on improvements on the site in both design, technique and content. But we'll keep you up to date on that later on. @DazzlinDonna, really? You feel the text size is too small? Wow, interesting, never heard that one before but we will take that in consideration. Any others feel the same on this?

Maybe it's just me (running FF on Linux), but yes, unless I manually enlarge the font size, it's extra-extra-small.
