6 billion online videos watched in Germany in August German music right holders might not like the idea that YouTube, and thus Google, is presenting lots of videos containing music. The allegations about copyright infringement however do not seem to affect the use. Comscore calculated that in August alone 35,7 million German users watched at least one video online. Google is growing rapidly. It saw an increase of 38% videos watched in August 2009 compared to August 2008. The biggest growth however was for specific German sites like ProsiebensSat1, which saw an increase of 164%), Axel Springer (a growth of 222%) and Deutsche Telekom, which grew no less than 495%. If you look at the absolute numbers however these sites play a minor role. CommentRelated tweets
