Get your votes out: SEO-Chicks finals start

The 'womens weblog about search' SEO-chicks, founded by our very own Lisa Myers, has been well known for the past few years with those in the industry. The female bloggers (no men allowed to write there) are now looking for fresh blood. So they've set up a contest.

Its their very own version of "X-factor" right there. The girls started the SEO-Chicks contest by asking female bloggers to send in a post so they could be judged on their performance. Now six post are selected on which 'the public can vote'.

The six posts are all hosted on the SEO-chicks blog. They're all very different but highly interesting posts. The bloggers for now remain unknown so you can only judge them on the content.

Lisa Myers is excited about the posts:

"We really didn’t imagine getting such fantastic response to the SEO Chicks blogging competition. We even had to extend the deadline as people kept on writing in asking if it was too late to enter. Myself, Julie and Judith have been going back and forth trying to whittle it down to 5 blogposts, in fact we decided to publish 6 as we just couldn’t whittle it down any more."

Two of the bloggers will become new SEO-Chicks. The winners will be anounced on Friday 9th October, the official launch date for the NEW SEO-Chicks website. We will be interviewing both winners here on Searchcowboys next week.

To see which post you like and who should be the winner head over to SEO-Chicks and start voting!
