Google launches Adsense for Mobile Applications

Google believes in mobile, and why shouldn't they? The mobile web has seen a huge growth in the last couple of years, mostly after the introduction of the iPhone (which is peculiar because on that device you can look at 'normal' sites).

Mobile advertising though hasn't kept up to the pace with the mobile usage. After all, who will click on an add on his phone? Well Google believes a lot of people will. As long as its a usefull ad. Therefore they launched AdSense for Mobile Applications.

AdSense for Mobile Applications allows developers to earn revenue by displaying text and image ads in their iPhone and Android applications. So not just the mobile web, but the mobile applications. That's where Google is focussing on. And that's where it should be. In the video below AdSense for Mobile Applications is discussed.
