World's most innovative mobile technology

During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, attendees picked Blippar as the most innovative mobile technology in the world. Blippar is the first image-recognition phone app. It is an augmented reality app which aims to make mobile advertising more fun and less complicated.

How it works? Check out the video, it is pretty cool:

In summer 2011 Blippar was launched in the UK and this year they are rolling out worldwide. They were part of the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, after winning a competition in november. This app can be seen as the QR-code killer..
