Huawei Ascend P1S– thinnest Smartphone with high performance Recently, one of my friends told me about the thinnest Smartphone ever in the market, Ascend P1 S. Its thickness is only 6.68mm, which is 2.62mm thinner compared with iPhone 4S. I think it will be exciting to share this news on SearchCowboys. It is made by Huawei. Probably you have never heard about this company before. It is a Chinese telecom giant, and has been cooperating with 47 network carriers out of the Top 50 in the world. Ascend P1 S Smartphone is one of the latest Huawei moves in the business sector, and hopefully it will help increase brand awareness. In the technology field, “thin” seems to be a trend, such as thinnest laptop, tablet, and now Smartphone. Ascend P1 S Smartphone has a 4.3 inch AMOLED screen and is powered by dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. The 8 mega pixels camera is located at the rear side of the device is and there is a 1.3 mega pixel sensor in the front with HDR technology and LED flash. All of this package into a case that’s only 6.68mm thick. By the way, HDR technology also has been used in the iPhone in order to provide deeper and clearer images. “We’re excited to unveil the world’s slimmest Smartphone here at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012,” said Richard Yu, Huawei Device chairman. “The Ascend P1 S demonstrates our ongoing commitment to innovating high quality devices that utilized the latest hardware and software technologies”. Ascend P1 S will have Android 4.0 on board, and it is coming to major markets in Q2 2912. The selling price is still under negotiating between Huawei and telecom carriers, but the company expects the device to sell for about $400.
