Yahoo replaces Google on O2 Germany Yahoo announced it is now the new search provider of the O2 Germany mobile portal. With that they replace Google who had been the default search engine for years. Two years ago Yahoo made a similar deal with Telefonica in Spain. Telefonica is the owner of O2 so the step is not surprising. O2 Germany was not included in the deal with Telefonica in 2007 because they had just signed a similar deal with Google. CommentRelated tweets
