Bing's homepage shows hotspots

One of the main differences between Google and Bing is the homepage. Where Google is keeping things white, from the launch off Bing has placed pictures from around the globe as background of their homepage.

And Bing is using the homepage-pictures as a smart marketing tool. Several weeks ago people could send in their own pictures and now Bing has added hotspots on the homepage.

Every day Bing has a new background image and now Bing is handing us information about the image by using hotspots.

Just hover your mouse over the image and find the hotspots. When you do a short description of the hotspots, Bing will give you information about what the picture is of, where it was taken, and other trivia. If you hover over the copyright symbol in the lower-right corner you can find quick information and the information about photographers and owners.
