UK viewers can watch live TV at MSN

A couple of weeks ago Microsoft decided to close Soapbox. It seemed as if Microsoft just couldn't win the battle with YouTube.

Now Microsoft has revealed their next steps on the online video market. They are using the Soapbox technology to launch a video-on-demand channel with programs of amongst others the BBC.

At you can find videos from different categories like comedy, documentaries, drama, entertainment, sci-fi, this life, shameless and big train. For now the videos can be watched for free because the videos are supported by advertising because of a deal Microsoft made with GroupM.

In the future some videos will remain free and with advertising, while others will be available against a fee. Microsoft is planning on growing the content catalogue extensively with content maybe even from other broadcasters.

It really is too bad though that this nice feature is only available in the UK, leaving out a lot of Europeans who would have loved this service.

The ASUS ZenFone 6 is definitely a looker, with a not-too-chunky 9.9mm build and a soft matte plastic back that feels solid to the touch. The six-inch smartphone dons a 1280 x 720 display.
