Does Bing/Yahoo Click-Through beats Google's? We don't have the 'full' Bing Europe just yet, but if the numbers which come from a research performed by Chitika are true, we would welcome Bing with open arms. The study by the search ad targeting network shows that the CTR on Bing is possibly a lot bigger than on Google. The study claims that visitors coming from organic search results on Bing are over 50 percent more likely to click on an ad than if they are coming from Google.
32 million ad impressions across 50,000+ sites were measured for seven days. People coming from Bing clicked on ads 1.5% on average, Google showed only 0.97 percent which was even less than the 1.24% for Yahoo. ![]() So it looks like Bing is much more efficient than Google. But according to Chikita many of the consumers who came from Bing are influenced by ads. Also it is said that search engines will play a more vital role for advertisers looking to connect with consumers, which could explain the big differences. So we should be carefull with embrasing Bing too soon, but fact is, that it's an interesting alternative, especially with the deal between Microsoft and Yahoo finally coming through...

I'm so tired of hearing about MS & Yahoo! Deals on, Deals off - blah! I like to use www.infospace.com - it provides clean relevant results from Google, Ask, Bing & yahoo - plus Twitter as well. And if I want I can view just results from one of the 4 or all 4. Saves me a lot of time!
