Bing is live sooner than expectedMicrosoft's new search engine Bing (previously known as Kumo) has unexpectedly gone live yesterday, June 1st. While initially it seemed like a partial go-live, as only a few locales were supported, today Bing seems to support a wider array of countries and languages. Bing is Microsoft's new and widely publicized search engine, or "decision engine and consumer brand" as Microsoft calls it. it boasts a range of new features, such as a lefthand sidebar with search suggestions and descriptive popups with sitelinks for each result. Bing is still in beta, as evidenced by the logo, so it's not unreasonable to expect new features to be added on short notice. A thorough in-depth review of Bing with all its features will appear on Searchcowboys soonTM. Comment |

Looks indeed like a partial go-live.
In the Netherlands Bing is still using Yahoo to serve ads, but:
*conspiracy mode on*
why am I not seeing any ads in the serps of bing.nl in Google Chrome where IE and FF do show ads (on the same keyword)?
