Google Maps now available in Portugal Google Maps, the popular mapping service from Google, is now available in Portugal, including its popular "transit" tool, that provides the best routes when you're planning a trip. Google introduced its Google Maps service in Portugal with a full presentation to the Portuguese media. It is now possible for Portuguese businesses to have a full local business listing, including images, videos and user reviews. Although at present we don't see Google Maps in Universal Search results, the introduction of Google Maps Portugal forsees a future where local search will present the SERPs with detailed business listings with detailed locations.
