BT makes Google deal to offer Adwords support

A lot of suprised responses two weeks ago when the Yahoo BT Broadband Portal moved to Google as being the new search engine and not Bing.

We then already mentioned that BT was probably playing a big role in the decision. The news on TechCrunch UK that BT and Google join forces to offer AdWords support to small businesses supports that statement.

In the deal BT will become an authorised reseller of Google AdWords. BT and Google with this deal aim at the small businesses. They want to help those businesses getting more professional.

BT will be offering "full-service AdWords account management, including set-up and ongoing campaign monitoring."

In short it means that BT can help you as a small business getting your Adwords running. But how do other agencies feel about this new competition?
