GMail helps you unsubscribe

Again another feature from Google, then again, with that many different products you are bound to get new features often. This time its GMail offering a new feature: unscubscribing from newsletters.

Google lets you no longer search the mail and find the unsubscribe button, which usually takes you to a website where you sometijmes even have to fill in your e-mailadress again. GMail now just gives you a "unsubscribe and report spam" button.

GMail helps you unsubscribe

Clicking "Unsubscribe" will automatically send a request back to the sender so they'll stop emailing you. A very handy feature for many. So far Google has not yet gotten every sender to accept their unsubscriptions. GMail also won't offer the unsubscribe option on messages from spammers. So don't be surprised if you don't see the option appearing just yet...
