Summer Shine: Updates on Webmastertools

Google has released several updates to Webmastertools. With the time of the year in mind they have given the update the code name "Summer Shine".

Google made changes to site selector lists, sitelinks, URL removal requests and the navigation of Webmastertools. One minor problem though: Since this update some have experienced trouble to access webmaster tool with Firefox.

A quick overview of the changes made:

Site selector: now lists all verified sites that you own, and allows you to search as you type.

Sitelinks: You can now block non-homepage sitelinks.

URL removal requests: You can now see URL removal requests submitted by other users for any sites you own, and revoke them if necessary.

Navigation: Google has tried to make a distinction between verified and unverified sites.

Look for yourself if you like the changes. Not everybody seems happy.
