Google puts maps next to images

Universal search is expanding its possibilities by the minute it seems. Google has now placed a Google Map result next to image results when searching for a particular location. So far it has been seen in the UK and US, but not yet in other European countries.
The Google Map result has been in Universal Search for about two years now. The images have also been around a while now, but the combination of both of them is new.
If you click on a picture next to the map you will be taken to the photos layer on Google Maps which will show more related photos.
