Czechs get to vote on Streetview sites

While in some countries they try to stop the Google Streetview cars in the Czech Republic they are turning the picture taking into a contest.

Google started to take pictures for Streetview in Prague in the beginning of May. But they feel the Czech Republic has got more to offer than just Prague. Google, together with the CzechTourism Agency decided to ask the users which sites or symbols should not be missed in the Czech version of Streetview.

For some sites Google will use their now famous tricycles to take the pictures so the users can pick out sites which can't be reached by a car.

Google and the CzechTourism will first collect all the tips and recommendations and then make a top 10 on which users can vote. The top three will eventually be photographed.
