Images in Google docs and Gmail

One of the main annoyances I've had with GMail is that you couldn't 'paste' an image into an e-mail. You had to add them as an attachment. Now Google made a change.

By turning on “Inserting images” from the Labs tab under Settings, you will see a new icon that lets you insert images.

Images in Google docs and Gmail

And guess what, these images you can now make yourself in Google Docs. After programs like word processor, spreadsheets and presentations Google now added a drawing program to the Docs possibilities.

It's not a program which stands on its own, but a add-on to the Doc. Open a new Google Docs document and click Insert -> Drawing. A pop up opens with a simple drawing program where you can add figures, flow charts and these kind of images to your Google Doc. A simple but nice feature.
